Growing your own cucumbers is a great bit of fun, and quite tasty as well, whether you grow them to eat sliced, pickled, or stir-fried.
But, how long do cucumbers take to grow, from start to harvest?

Today’s common gardening question: how long do cucumbers take to grow?
The answer: cucumbers grow for between one and a half months and three months before they are ready for harvesting. The species, climate, the severity of the weather, potential pests, companion plants, and other factors (including how well you care for the plants) determine how fast your cucumbers grow. Keep in mind that the best-tasting cucumbers are always harvested a week or two “early”.
