Today’s Common Gardening Question: How much light do Daffodils need?

The Answer: Daffodils require a minimum of 6 solid hours of sunlight per day if you expect to see bulbs bloom. Plant these flowers in the shade and they will grow foliage, but no blooms. Flowers that receive 8 hours or more sunlight and aren’t in the shade produce the most vivid colors.
