Today’s Common Gardening Question: How much light do carrots need?
The Answer: Growing carrots need around 6 to 8 hours of sunlight each day outside in the garden. Inside, carrots requires 5 to 10 hours of light depending on your grow lights. That said, they aren’t typically grown indoors due to being a root vegetable and needing several more inches of soil depth to grow in.
