Answer: Honeydew are sensitive to the elements, which means they can’t handle much direct sunlight on their fruit, but they need to grow in the full sun to develop. They also need the warmth of the full sun, so it’s recommended to use the wide leaves from their vines or cardboard boxes to protect them from being scalded.
