Today’s Common Gardening Question: How much light do palm plants/trees need?

The Answer: Palms need much less light than other houseplants, indirect sunlight and/or partial shade are recommended. Low to medium light areas are the most preferred for optimal health/growth of indoor palms. Four to six hours of light is more than adequate if your plant is in a high light area.
