Today’s Common Gardening Question: How much light do roses need?
The Answer: Roses need between 6 and 8 hours of sunlight each day, generally speaking. That said, there are so many types of roses, and hybrid species, that it is always best to refer to the recommended amount of light. Roses do not need full sun, though many do thrive in it.
