Today’s Common Gardening Question: How much water do beets need?

The Answer: Beets require just one inch of water per week, and barely. That said, when it gets hotter than usual outside, increase their hydration by about half an inch to an inch each week. Otherwise, you can water them a bit each day, or thoroughly just once or twice weekly.
