Today’s Common Gardening Question: How much water do peaches need?

The Answer: Peaches need around 1 inch of water per week, or slightly less once they are mature. When they are first planted, peach trees require several liters of water per day for the first two weeks.

After peach trees have produced fruit for several years, they will only need watering from you in the case of drought, and when you are fertilizing them.
