Today’s Common Gardening Question: How much water does garlic need?

The Answer: Garlic needs approximately 0.5 inch to 1 inch of water per week. Over the course of a growing season, garlic requires around 16 inches of water. That said, the soil, weather, and location, and species of garlic impact the exact amount of water needed.

Also, reduce the amount of water you give your garlic plants during cool weather, and increase it during warm.
