Today’s Common Gardening Question: How much water does Spinach need?
The Answer: Spinach needs about 1 inch of water per week when it is cool (in the spring and autumn), but requires an additional .5 to 1 inch of water each week when the weather warms up for the year.
If you are able to grow Spinach in the Summer, try watering it via an irrigation system rather than overhead watering. Also, aim for the root zone and avoid wetting the leaves.
