Today’s Common Gardening Question: How much water does Swiss chard need?

The Answer: Swiss chard needs approximately 1 inch of water each week. Increase water by .5 inches per week during the hottest parts of the growing season (or anytime the soil is too dry).

Also, keep in mind that Swiss chard thrives in well-draining soil, but make sure to re-hydrate things shortly after the soil dries out.
