Today’s Common Gardening Question: How much water does thyme need?
The Answer: Thyme needs approximately 1 to 2 inches of water every 2 weeks or so. In the hotter times of the year, give thyme an inch of extra water each week.
During the autumn and winter, give thyme no more than 1 inch or so of water every 2 to 4 weeks.
